Why did we move from Stockport?

Why? Great question.

The answer is simply this.......

Despite us holding this event twice previously with no objection, Stockport Council decided to intervene and attempt to extort us by insisting that every artist attending registered as a PERMANENT artist in the Stockport Borough at a cost of £80 per person (a total cost of approx £4000).

 We tried to reason with logic and common sense but we hit a brick wall every single time. After fighting for a couple of weeks and the Council then ghosting us we decided that the only thing we could do is move. 

So, we had a great conversation with the folks at Manchester Council and they were awesome.

Mancunia Tattoo Convention was born and we are still determined to give you the cool laid back show we have delivered twice before.
